A Decade of Healthcare Innovation: Never Giving Up
The entrepreneurial spark ignited during BDS at Manipal University when I won the “Provenance” business plan competition at Manipal Technology Business Incubator. What started as a college competition became the foundation for a decade-long innovation journey.
Launched Dentogate in 2016 – a dental helpline receiving 100+ daily calls from rural Karnataka, clearly showing massive healthcare access gaps. Pivoted to HelloDoc in 2017 as a comprehensive medical helpline serving 65K+ eSanjeevani beneficiaries during COVID-19.
In 2018, became India’s first NIDHI-Entrepreneur in Residence recipient when the Start-up India government initiative was just picking up momentum. This ₹25 lakh DST funding helped scale operations and establish credibility in the healthcare start-up ecosystem.
Stanford Seed graduate and Founder Institute alumnus with 2 granted patents in dental technology and 1 filed patent for VR-based information management systems. Building solid community for digital product distribution.
Featured as BW Business World 40 Under 40 young achiever, with$0.5 million funding raised through institutional investors plus NIDHI-EIR support from Department of Science & Technology.
